Maciej Zyhatynski
Maciej has more than 20 years of professional experience. His area of expertise is restructuring, change management, change implementation, creating operational strategy, motivation systems, team building and effectiveness appraisal.
Maciej started his successful professional career at ORFE (European Pharmaceutical Distributor) where he managed the Transportation department. In 1993 Maciej moved to Avon Cosmetics for the position of Transportation Manager. During his 14 years of fruitful career at Avon he built service organisation and Customer Service Department. As Branch Operations Director he managed relocation of the operational functions from the centre of Warsaw to the manufacture in Garwolin, 300 job cuts, integration after fusion and implementation of totally new systems for order delivery and warehouse management. Since 2001 as Logistic Work stream Leader he managed relocations of distribution centres and production relocation/development for England, Italy, Poland, Germany, Russia and Romania. He created distribution parameters and idea for warehouse centres for new investment in Russia as well.
Since 2003 as Orderfulffillment/Supply Chain Director for CSEE he created and managed distribution network of 4 branches: Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Romania - servicing 16 countries of Central and South - East Europe and 1 million retail customers. Maciej planned and implemented expansion plan and cluster model for new market: Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia, Finland, application of this model gave app. 4 million $ savings. He elaborated and implemented effective operational delivery model for Kazakhstan. Created by him continual and versatile monitoring system of operational activities of competitors as well as benchmarking of effective solution with the biggest distribution and logistic companies is used in the region. Maciej managed implementation of ERP system (JD Edwards). Done by him reduction of transportation services network from 42 suppliers to 21 gave 1, 2 mln $ savings.
Maciej received an MSc degree in transportation from Warsaw University of Technology. He also holds a degree in business management and human resources at the University of Illinois. He received numerous business training at Avon as well.
